Night Warden
On some nights, a single Warden emerges near one hunted player, hunts them until dawn, and then digs back underground.
- At dusk on a Warden night, one player is marked. Everyone else is told, so they can choose to help. The marked player alone senses omens: sculk clicking below, a heartbeat underground, distant digging.
- Once it's fully dark, a warning arrives, and soon after a Warden emerges from the ground nearby, using vanilla's own animation.
- It doesn't know exactly where you are. It searches, sniffs and listens, and once it finds you, it hunts. Running far away doesn't always work: it may dig in and come up right beside you.
- At dawn it digs back down. Players who kill it earn an advancement and a pair of Quiet Feet, boots that sculk and Wardens can't hear.
- Fully configurable: how often Warden nights come, cooldowns, spawn distances, messages and more.
